In this novelette ICE agent Madi Reynolds goes ahead with her plan to attend her brother’s wedding even though her life is in danger and she is advised by her boss to leave the country. Her partner turned bodyguard accompanies her. Madi has spent years trying to break a human trafficking ring. Now, she has to walk away. Agent Brice Johnson must protect Madi at all costs; but can he protect his heart in the meantime? I found this story to be a little too short. It was over before I was ready for it to end. There was a hint of danger, a romance and a lot of soul-searching. Madi and Brice realized that when they turned ALL of their problems over to God that things worked out for the best. Always remember God is in control.
