Counterfeit Love by Crystal Caudill is the first book in her Hidden Hearts of the Gilded Age series. Secret Service Agent Broderick Cosgrove is on the trail of a gang of counterfeiters. When he uncovers evidence that his former fiancé, Theresa Plane, is somehow involved he must find the truth before it’s too late. Theresa was a very strong person. Even with all the hurt thrown her way she was able to overcome and forgive. The story was fast-paced with several plot twists! A great debut novel.
