The Matchmakers of Holly Circle by Chautona Havig is a stand-alone romance novel. Ruth and Richard have been neighbors and friends for ten years. They just can’t seem to get past the friend stage. Mason Dickenson, the neighbor at the end of the street, decides that they need a little friendly help. The story was a little drawn-out. There were a few annoying characters, but getting past all of that the story had a lot of heart. The matchmaking scheme was a brilliant work of art. Ruth was a very likable, relatable character; and Richard was the typical hero.
