The Secret of Emerald Cottage by Julie Lessman is a stand-alone, return novel to Lake Loon, Georgia. When Chase Griffin asks Molly Stewart, an ex-Navy nurse, to take the position of nurse-companion to Miss Lilly, his landlady; they had no idea that it would become such a dangerous assignment. When Miss Lilly’s famous soccer playing nephew shows up things heat up even more. The suspense in the story was very well done for a self-proclaimed romance writer. The romance was a little too intense for my taste. The Scripture verses throughout the story were well placed.
