Unknown by Vanessa Hall is the first book in her Grace Sufficient series. Gabe Kelly returns to Russia to bury his parents. He becomes a target when he questions how his parents died. Reconnecting with his childhood friend, Sophia Rykova, puts both their lives in danger. I felt that the storyline got lost in the attempt to bring in the spiritual message that the author was trying to convey. It read more as a missionary guide to salvation than a suspense story. It was a little over done.
