Until Leaves Fall in Paris by Sarah Sundin is a World War two stand-alone novel. American ballerina Lucie Girard has been in Paris since childhood. First studying dance and then dancing at the ballet. Now, with the Nazi’s invading Paris she buys her favorite bookstore in order that the Jewish owners may flee. Auto maker Paul Aubrey meets Lucie while shopping in her store. Will war take all that they hold dear or will they have the courage to fight for what is theirs? This story was so gripping from the first page to the last. It would make an awesome movie! The suspense was intense. I loved Lucie’s character. She had the courage to do the right thing even when she thought she wasn’t very smart.
I received this book from the publisher for my honest review.
