Vanished in the Mountains by Tanya Stowe is a stand-alone Love Inspired Suspense book. Domestic violence counselor Dulcie Parker feels the need to help those that can’t help themselves. When she uncovers evidence of a human trafficking ring in her area, she knows she must help even if she dies in the process. She turns to Deputy Sheriff Austin Turner for help, can they solve the case before the gang strikes again? When the story first started it was almost as if it was a continuation of another story. There was talk of a previous case etc. Other than that, it was a great pulse-pounding story. Dulcie was a likeable character even though she was a wimp when it came to reacting to trouble. Even though Dulcie and Turner had problems they were able to work through them and come out stronger in the end!
I received this book from Celebrate-Lit for my honest review.
