Yesterday’s Tides by Roseanna M. White is a stand-alone novel. Set in two time frames; it’s the stories of two very courageous resilient women! Louisa Adair’s story is set in 1914 during the first world war. She falls in love with an Englishman who is visiting her quaint little island inn during the summer. In 1942, Evie Farrow falls in love with a man who washes up on her beach. The stories were a little hard to keep straight since people from both time periods were in both segments, but I really enjoyed getting to know LuLu and Evie. They were both strong, independent girls with lots of fortitude to face life’s hardships!
I received this book from the author for my honest review.
